The Wheelbase Side Mount Pro is our most versatile and structurally refined side mounting solution—engineered to support a wider range of direct drive wheelbases while delivering uncompromising rigidity and precise adjustability.

Designed for modern high-torque systems, the Side Mount Pro combines CNC-milled aluminum chassis brackets with laser-cut steel wheelbase brackets, creating a mounting system that is both adaptable and exceptionally rigid where it matters most.

Precision Adjustment Without Compromise

To fine-tune driving position, the Side Mount Pro provides 45mm of front-to-back adjustment, allowing drivers to move the wheelbase closer or farther away without repositioning the seat or uprights.

Slotted mounting points allow smooth adjustment during setup and lock solidly in place once tightened, maintaining alignment and rigidity under sustained direct drive torque.

Expanded Compatibility by Design

The Side Mount Pro is designed for rigs with a 580 mm total width and features an adjustable internal width from 160mm to 180mm, allowing a single mount to securely support both:

• Fanatec Podium DD wheelbases (DD1 / DD2)
• Fanatec CSL DD models

No spacers. No alternate brackets. One mount that adapts cleanly to your hardware.

The adjustable width also allows compatibility with our 180mm front mounting plates, enabling additional wheelbase brands and mounting configurations without changing the core mount.

Purpose-Built Materials Where It Counts

• The chassis-side brackets (far left and right) are CNC-milled from 10mm aluminum and finished in black powder coat, providing precise fitment and long-term durability at the chassis interface.
• The wheelbase connection brackets are laser-cut from 5mm steel, also black powder coated, delivering increased stiffness and resistance to flex directly at the wheelbase under high torque loads.

This hybrid approach ensures strength where forces are highest, without unnecessary bulk or weight.
